These terms govern your use of the Bellevue browser extension and the website at getbellevue.com. By installing or using Bellevue you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install Bellevue, or remove it from your browser. You can reach us at support@getbellevue.com.
Our privacy policy explains what data Bellevue collects and who receives it. Read it too.
1. Who may use Bellevue
You must be at least 16 years old, and able to enter into a binding agreement where you live, to use Bellevue.
2. Your licence
You may install and use Bellevue on browsers you own or control, for your own use, subject to these terms. The licence is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and we may withdraw it if you break these terms. It is a licence to use Bellevue, not a sale of it.
3. What you may not do
Copy, modify, redistribute, sell or rent Bellevue, or reverse engineer or decompile it, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
Interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, or send them data other than through the extension.
Use the Bellevue name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.
Use Bellevue to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, or to violate the terms of a website you use it on.
4. Other people's websites and the store
Bellevue works on websites we do not control. Their content, availability and terms are theirs, not ours, and we are not responsible for them.
You install Bellevue from a browser store. That store's terms also apply to your use of it.
5. Updates and changes to Bellevue
Bellevue updates itself through the store, and by using it you agree to receive updates. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering Bellevue altogether.
6. Ownership
Bellevue, its name and logo, and the website are ours. Apart from the licence in section 2, these terms give you no rights in them.
7. No warranty
Bellevue is free, and we provide it as it is, without any promise that it will work on every website, work without interruption or errors, or suit your purposes. This does not affect the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live, which cannot be excluded by these terms.
8. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of Bellevue. For any other loss, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us for Bellevue.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.
9. Your responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Bellevue. If your breach of these terms leads to a claim against us by someone else, you will cover the resulting costs and damages.
10. Ending this agreement
You can end it at any time by removing Bellevue from your browser. We can end it, and stop Bellevue working for you, if you break these terms. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you may also withdraw from this agreement within 14 days of installing Bellevue by emailing us, and removing the extension has the same effect at any time.
Sections 6 to 9 and 12 to 13 continue to apply after the agreement ends.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. We will tell you about a material change through the extension or the website before it takes effect, and if you keep using Bellevue after that you accept the new terms. If you do not, remove Bellevue from your browser.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia, and the courts of Croatia have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
13. General
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Bellevue. If any part of them is found invalid, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else; we may transfer it to a successor that takes over Bellevue.
